1968-1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom Ebony Online

Description
This is a 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom in the classic Ebony finish paired with gold hardware. The serial number on this one is 539052 with pot code dates to the 50th week of 1968 – so it s most likely that this guitar shipped from the factory in early 1969. It s all built to 1968 spec; no neck volute, no Made in USA stamp on the back of the headstock and this one appears to be a one-piece neck and a one-piece body, and you can also see it was stamped with a 2 as a factory second beneath the serial number.
There is finish touch up around the controls and on spots throughout the neck as we ve seen through blacklighting the guitar. The pickups and electronics inside are all original, with one changed pickup cover on the bridge pickup. The fretboard still features the original Fretless Wonder frets as you can see their extremely low profile in the pictures. Lastly, you can see that the D-string tuner is slightly bent although it still works as it should. The original rectangle-style case is included!
